About Our Founder
Dr. Marlo Richardson is an award-winning entrepreneur, media executive, and strategic business leader with over 25 years of cross-industry experience. Her leadership spans law enforcement, state and local government, entertainment, finance, real estate, and education.
Dr. Richardson served as a Police Lieutenant and was appointed by the Governor of California, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and the Mayor of Los Angeles to oversee and manage high-impact programs that uplift underserved communities. She also served on the California State Bar’s Ethics Committee, helping shape policy and accountability at the highest levels.
In addition to her public service, Dr. Richardson is a prolific media producer and filmmaker, running her own production company and producing original film, television, podcast, and digital content. Her passion for storytelling and representation shines through every project she leads.
A lifelong mentor, Dr. Richardson has been committed to youth development since the age of 16. Her work in education and business mentoring has helped thousands of entrepreneurs start, scale, and sustain businesses rooted in impact.
